Artistic director Judith FLEX Helle describes Luminario Ballet’s second season as “the Olympics combined with music.” Performing ballet on pointe, modern and aerial dance, Luminario looks to the future and wears the past effortlessly.   Their program includes premieres by: Jamal Story; Alexandre Mango; and LA's revered ballet maestro Stefan Wenta's hommage to Chopin in honor of his 200th birthday; as well as revivals "TURF," choreographed by LA modern dance legend Bella Lewitzky, staged by John Pennington; and "Bouquet" choreographed by Michael Smuin.  Also featured in the evening is the Led Zeppelin aerial ballet spectacular, "LedZAerial" by Judith FLEX Helle.  Guest Italian tenor opera singer Carlos de Antonis will appear, as well as suprise guests!
